What does it really mean to live the Christian life?
Many believers know the Word, attend church, and pray regularly—but still struggle to grow. In this episode, we confront a sobering truth from Scripture: knowledge without surrender leads to spiritual stagnation.
Looking at the church in Corinth, we explore how it’s possible to be deeply taught yet remain carnal—living more like the world than like Christ. This message challenges us to move beyond merely hearing truth and instead yield to the Holy Spirit, allowing God’s Word to transform our lives from the inside out.
God has not only given us His standards—He has given us His Spirit to fulfill them.
Will we remain babes… or grow into spiritual maturity?
Spiritual maturity is not determined by how much truth you know—but by how much truth you obey.
Knowing is not enough
The Corinthians were well-taught but remained spiritually immature.
Carnality keeps believers from growing
Living in the flesh prevents the Word from taking root.
Spiritual people are responsive to God
Maturity is seen in surrender, obedience, and transformation.
God provides both the standard and the power
Through Christ and the Holy Spirit, we are enabled to live righteously.
Yielding determines your walk
Walking in the Spirit is a choice—to surrender or resist.
Your life reveals your true condition
Outward fruit reflects inward reality.
