When we find ourselves struggling with being disappointed, it's usually because we have high expectations. If we learn to lower the expectations, and follow the 4 R's method, we find room to replace expectations with gratitude. Using the C.I.R.C.L.E. method to align our focus on the 4 R's, we can remember the perspective of why gratitude is so important. The Gratitude Prayer reminds us and gives us the ability to calm ourselves, and focus on purpose and gratitude over expectations.
