Join us this morning as Pastor Adam walks us through 1 Peter 2:9 and speaks on the excellencies of Jesus Christ!

Josh Gentry examines James 3:1-6 and speaks about the power of words and how to control our tongues.

This week, Pastor Aaron discusses what it looks like to live out a life that we claim to believe.

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. - James 2:26

Pastor Neil leads us through James 2:1-13 and reminds us that the actual requirement for Heaven is perfection, and perfection is only achieved through the blood of Jesus.

We must build a heart valor for the right things - God, family, community.

Our team is back from Colombia! Join us this morning as we share about how we witnessed God moving to bring the Gospel to the unreached tribes of the country.

If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. - James 1:26-27

James reminds us that if we are TRUE followers of Christ, it will be evidenced in the works we do. Pursuing Christ truly changes your actions and others should be able to recognize your love and faith in Christ through your actions. While ‘works’ aren’t salvation, one’s works and actions should be influenced by their faith in Jesus.

"The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free.” - Luke 4:18 (NLT)
