In this episode, Kare and Anita chat with guest Anne Neufeld as she shares the experience of writing her mother-in-law's memoir.
About Our Guest:Anne was born into a Mennonite family and raised in a rural setting where she learned the value of hard work. She married her high school sweetheart and they have been married for over 60 years, having raised three interesting and wonderful children. She first became an elementary school teacher, but expanded her vocational skills into other directions, ending her career with a very fulfilling position working with people who had acquired brain injuries.
Her faith has always been of utmost importance to her and has led her into service opportunities to assist people in need. Anne's hobby which she uses to fulfill that need is quilting blankets for refugees. She has also, for many years, been very interested in discovering her family history and enjoys compiling the information for the generations to come, both pictorially and in written word.
