We're bringing you a very special weekend bonus episode - the recent Ontario case Work Safe Twerk Safe v Ontario. The case concerns an application brought by Work Safe Twerk Safe on behalf of strippers in the province of Ontario in light of Covid-19 restrictions. This preliminary motion, dealing with anonymity in affidavit evidence, provides interesting insight and analysis of why anonymity is important in our current digital world. 

Note 1 From the Decision: At the beginning of the hearing, counsel for Work Safe advised me that “strippers” is the term used by Work Safe and the term preferred by the individuals it represents.
