What does OlyverApp allow you to do? Start: Form corporations and LLCs, register trademarks, create website terms of service, get common business contracts. Manage: Maintain cap tables, appoint managers, notice and hold meetings, get registered in any state, file reports and returns. Grow: Provide potential investors with due diligence documents and records and 'wow' them with your management skills. Steven Fried is the founder, CEO and General Counsel of OlyverApp. He shares his experience over the last few years, from learning to code to hiring developers. Creating an application that has been serving customers from the very beginning and just recently opened to the public. It's a good story from a founder who discovered, making Nick Rishwain laugh, is the best way to be invited onto the show. It was from the fun Twitter interactions that the invite happened. #legaltech #business #startups More About Steven Fried & OlyverApp: Steven Fried on Twitter: https://twitter.com/OlyverApp. Steven Fried on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/olyver/. We envision a new era where buying your house, refinancing your mortgage or running your real estate business will be powered by technology instead of paperwork and rubber stamps. As it happened in other industries, software will give us more freedom by unlocking full control and flexibility of what we own. This is what Federico Pomi, CEO of Fabrica, and Legal Counsel, Daniel Rollingher joined us to discuss. At present, they are focusing on transferring real property where title is held in a trust. The trust is then transferred via #blockchain in the form of an #NFT. Currently, Fabrica is working on proving the concept... proving that property ownership can be successfully transacted in this fashion. Lawyers and #legaltech communities need to pay attention. This can be done and is being done. Right now, it's being done with vacant land. But it is showing promise! This episode co-hosted by LexDAO member, James McCall for his first repeat appearance. What is LexDAO (The Decentralized Legal Engineering Guild)? LexDAO is a non-profit association of legal engineering professionals that brings the traditional legal settlement layer to code, and coded agreements to the masses. They believe that everyone deserves access to justice provided in a quick and efficient manner. If legal services were easier to use, verify, and enforce, we could live in a fairer world. #Blockchain technology offers solutions too many problems in the legal space. Their mission is to research, develop and evangelize first-class legal methods and blockchain protocols that secure rules and promises with code rather than trust. They do this by training LexDAO certified legal engineers and building LexDAO certified blockchain applications. We strive to balance new deterministic tools with the equitable considerations of law to better serve our clients, allies, and ultimately citizens. The perfect association for a #legaltech discussion! #DAO More about LexDAO: LexDAO website: https://lexdao.coop/. LexDAO on Twitter: https://twitter.com/lex_DAO.
