As we journey from the Mount of Olives on Palm Sunday to Calvary on Good Friday to an empty tomb on Easter Sunday, we're going to be doing a series of readings and meditations centered around the practice of Lectio Divina - a way of reading scripture that's primarily designed not for us to remember a story or to analyze a text, but rather to allow the voice of God to speak to us. Shorter readings, read multiple times, with simple prompts invite us to create space for God to speak to us, especially this week, as we prepare for a momentous Sunday morning.
Today's post focuses on Holy Monday - a day where Jesus enters into both confrontation and judgement of Jerusalem and her leaders. What does God say to us, through the actions of Jesus? What can we learn and how can we be guided by him, who is still speaking to us today?
