College football has lost one of its most recognizable voices and leaders. Len Clark reports.
Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz has died at the age of 89. Holtz guided Notre Dame to the 1988 national championship, finishing a perfect 12-and-0 season and restoring the Irish to national prominence. Over a career spanning six programs, he compiled 249 wins and later became a familiar analyst on ESPN’s college football coverage.
