The Notre Dame women’s basketball team took on Louisville Sunday, and the game ended the way it needed it to for the Irish, as Len Clark reports.
Defense was key as Notre Dame beat Louisville 65–62 Sunday at the Yum Center. The Irish held the Cardinals without a field goal over the final four-fifty-nine, closing the game with rebounds and free throws. Hannah Hidalgo had 30 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists as Notre Dame secured a composed ACC road win. The Irish enter the ACC Tournament at 20–9, finishing 12–6 in league play.
