In this episode, I am joined by Joshua Shields who is a certified wildlife biologist, and registered forester for the state of Michigan. We go over many different topics around managing your woods for better wildlife, understanding your goals and objectives for your hunting and habitat, and some things to look for when hiring a forester or logger.
We also discuss the recent trend in pure stands of switchgrass, and how there may be better options that can be much more attractive and productive for whitetails and many other species of wildlife on your property.
