In this our second part of the conversation, Ross shares with us his first experience with a digital camera and who are the photographers that inspire him. Ski photography is like taking landscape photo's with some human element included in it. 

Ross has been shooting commercial action and lifestyle photography for over 25 years working in some of the world's finest locations, from fashion shoots on the glaciers of Switzerland to fly fishing in the mangroves of Cuba.

He spent the 90’s living and snowboarding in the mountains of Europe and New Zealand cramming 16 ski seasons into 10 years.

Our paths crossed many times thanks to all the work he does and continues to do for the UK snow industry.

In this the second part of our conversation, Pat Sharples and I talk about some of the lessons that HE learned from his Athletes and have a laugh when he shares with us which Movie star he would have play him -  if they made the Pat Sharples story!! 

Pat grew up skiing on the plastic slopes of Rossendale, England - but has come a long way since. Heading to alps to work and ski - he found he had a passion and talent for snow sports, specifically moguls winning various competitions and setting him on today’s path where he heads up the GB Snowsport Coaching Program.

It was a true honour to speak with Pat and have a laugh enjoying stories about the world of skiing. Make sure you listen to both part 1 and 2 to better understand the man who is coaching some our most talented athletes!
