December 08, 2022Ep63: Brian FergusonBrian 'Fergy' Ferguson had a short playing career at Chesterfield due to injury but still managed to be a pivotal figure in the 1984/85 title winning team. The full back (converted after a career in midfield) joined from Southend where he was playing under World Cup winner Bobby Moore and also played for Newcastle and Hull City amongst others. He joined the Chesterfield coaching team under John Duncan after his early retirement from playing and joined me to tell some great stories about his time playing and coaching in the 1980's.
