Shitala is an ancient folk deity[1] widely worshipped by many faiths in North India, West Bengal, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan as the pox-goddess. She is the Goddess of sores, ghouls, pustules and diseases.

Traditionally, Guru Gorakshanath is believed to have been born sometime in the 8th century at Gorkha District, Nepal, although some believe he was born hundreds of years later. He traveled widely across the Indian subcontinent, and accounts about him are found in some form in several places including Nepal, Afghanistan, Baluchistan, Punjab, Sindh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam, Bengal, Odisha, Kathiawar(Gujarat), Maharashtra, Karnataka, and even Sri Lanka.

As all u known, of all the Masters through the ages, there is one acknowledged Master who has been referred to in the ancient scriptures, in legends and mystic tales, in passing mention by many renowned masters and mentioned in the Puranas and other scriptures, he is known as Guru Goraksh nath. Guru Goraksh Nath is the supreme manifestation of supreme divinity. There is no word that can describe guru Goraksh Nath and his charismatic exploits. People having achieved elemental knowledge call him Mahayogi, Mahaguru, Aadi Nath, Siddha Yogiraj, Goraksha and so on. Saints, poets, yogis, scholars and historians of all ages.

The origin of Bhairava can be traced to the conversation between Brahma and Vishnu recounted in the Shiv Mahapuran where Vishnu asked Brahma who is the supreme creator of the Universe. Arrogantly, Brahma told Vishnu to worship him, he being the supreme creator. One day Brahma thought, "I have five heads, Shiva also has five heads. I can do everything that Shiva does and therefore I am Shiva" Brahma had become a little egoistic. Not only had he became egoistic, he started to forge the work of Shiva. Brahma started interfering in what Shiva was supposed to do. Then Mahadeva (Shiva) threw a small nail from His finger, which assumed the form of Kala Bhairava, and casually went to cut the head of Brahma. The skull of Brahma is held in the hands of Kala Bhairava; Brahma Kapala in the hands of Kala Bhairava and Brahma’s ego was destroyed and he became enlightened. Then onwards he became useful to himself and to the world and deeply grateful to Shiva. In the form of the Kaala Bhairava, Shiva is said to be guarding each of these Shaktipeeths. Each Shaktipeeth temple is accompanied by a temple dedicated to Bhairava.

Ganga aarti is a spiritual song sung in praise of Goddess Ganga, also affectionately referred to as Maa Ganga, Goddess of the most holy river, River Ganges in India. Every evening, as dusk descends, Ganga Aarti is performed at the three holy cities of Haridwar, Rishikesh and Varanasi in India. It is a very powerful and uplifting spiritual ritual. This aarti is also offered in respect to Lord Shiva, as it is believed that the Ganges flows from Lord Shiva's hair.
