The New York Times is reporting that more than a hundred party members, including several officials, are considering leaving the GOP and starting a new third party. Donald Trump's abysmal and chaotic leadership has destroyed the party, they contend, and they're trying to salvage as much as they can.

 

▪︎Gas prices jumped six  cents a gallon this week at fueling stations served by  the Colonial Pipeline, which runs from Houston to Linden, New Jersey and supplies 45 percent of the fuel used on the Eastern Seaboard.

A group calling itself DarkSide has claimed responsibility for unleashing a cyberattack against Colonial, disabling its pumps, and is demanding a ransom to unscramble their handiwork. Meanwhile, coast to coast across the South gas stations are running out or already have run out of fuel.
