I have found myself faced with a tough decision. It is causing me a level of discomfort, uncertainty, and unease. In this episode, I will share with you the crossroad I am facing and the indecision I have met and discuss how I am attempting to deal with this situation so to navigate my way through it.

I stayed in a job for way too long before I got FIRED. Not the best way to leave but I wanted out and in hindsight, it was the best thing that happened to me. If forced me to pursue my desires and paths in life that were complementary to the lifestyle I wanted to live.

I still haven't got it all figured it but here is what I think about working a JOB that you don't love, retirement and doughnuts.

My father sent me this quote by Francis of Assisi - “Remember that when you leave this earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received, only what you have given.” I think that puts what we do, have and how we live life into great perspective. 

If your job and life, great! If not those create some waves and make some change!

Self-Sabotage: The sabotaging thoughts, beliefs and behaviours, whether consciously or subconsciously, that creates problems and interferes with our goals, dreams and desires.

When we can better understand the concept of “Self” may we be better able to remove those road blocks that stand in our way from achieving and living a life that we truly desire?

Here are my thoughts on Self-sabotage. It has been with greater awareness I have been able to understand myself better, my weaknesses and self-sabotaging tendencies. In waking up, we can free ourselves from our self-imposed limitations so that I can mend, heal, improve and progress to live life as we wish.

This book is a book by Alan Watts is on philosophy and Zen Buddhism. It is a book of awareness and awakening. A series of lectures taken from the Alan Watts archive.

I absolutely loved this book! It has inspired thoughts about the Self and thoughts as to how I can make the most of this life.

If suffering is indeed life, I still am with the belief that I can relieve myself of much of this suffering by learning to let go, to stop clinging and I can only do this if I am aware and awake. Teachings like this one from Alan Watts assist me with that.

I love this quote - "Fuck what you know. You need to forget about what you know, that's your problem. Forget about what you think you know about life, about friendship, and especially about you and me." Tyler Durden

Thinking I am expected to live my life defining my Self by external measures. Thinking I need to know it all and to have life perfectly figured out. Fu*k all that external expectation and bull shit!

Find maturity by becoming the guide of our lives and be autonomous thought and action.
