As we are all once again staying at home more often, I took the opportunity to test our my new hide in my garden. I also mention the garden birds spotted throughout my time in the hide.

For my first walk, talk and shoot episode of 2021, I walked along the bank along the River Welland on a cold and frosty morning.

With current lockdown restrictions in place, it may be some time before I feel comfortable enough to do more walk, talk and shoot recordings, but please be assured I have other ideas in place until it is safer for me to travel further and record more Fenland wildlife.

Over the last year I have contemplated upgrading some of my photographic equipment, as I felt as though some of my current equipment wasn't best suited for the images I wanted to capture. So, I have decided to purchase my first - brand new, not secondhand - telephoto lens that I have had my eye on for quite some time!
