Lent Day 20 Ruth 4:13-22 The Son Part 1
Join Susan Downie your host as she expands on Toni Meridas Book, Ruth for you looking today at four headings as follows:
1. God has not forgotten his people.
2. God provides a Son for Boaz and Ruth.
3. God Provides a Redeemer for Naomi .
4. God provides a King for Israel.
Susan takes an honest approach surrounding the way writers depict pregnancy and childbirth alongside personal stories and compares it to this day and age.
In addition she turns her attention to the Israel's need for a redeemer as they were in darkness up to the end of the book of Judges. This redeemer is previewed, again using literary poetic licence, in the mention of King David.
