Join Susan Downie Your Host as she continues in the book of Titus using a commentary called Titus For You by Tim Chester published by the Good Book Company. Susan explains further the role of Titus in the Cretan Church. Likening the advent of disrupters and deceivers to a storm within the church that Titus may not have seen coming. 

Pauls letter is explaining to Titus that he must deal directly with those leading the Cretan church astray and that he should do this curtly, sharply.

Susan looks at the meaning of the word "Apotomos", used here to instruct the manner in which Titus was to correct the members of the church. 

With personal stories of storms that were unannounced in the Uk in 1987 she attempts to contextualise the Bomb that just landed on Titus's lap. 

Using Tim Chesters' book to explain Paul's sole Mission. Susan describes  how from Rome Paul continued to instruct from the standpoint of making disciples rather than converts. Gospel centred and mission based.
