They explore how Jesus uses paradox (losing life to find it, blessed are those who mourn) to move us from mere head knowledge to experiential faith, and why belief can feel hard in a dark world marked by war, violence, and personal pain. 

The conversation centers on surrender, repentance, and trusting Jesus even with “mustard seed” faith, reminding us that Lent is ultimately less about what we give up and more about learning to believe and receive what Christ has already done.
