A brand new week means it’s time for a fresh episode of the Real Life Podcast to get your week started while also helping you navigate the world around you. To kick off the Monday episode of the podcast, the guys jumped in with a discussion about hot tubs. Why? Because Wanye showed up to the podcast wearing only a housecoat after spending the morning outside in his jacuzzi that's why. After getting the podcast back on the rails, the guys looked at what could be a historic night for Edmonton Oilers forward, Leon Draisaitl, as he is up for both the Hart Trophy and the Ted Lindsay Award. However, is he likely to win both awards? The guys were split on that subject. From there, the conversation turned to the world of business as Jay and Wanye described the troubles of raising a building during a global pandemic. From locking down tenants to general construction delays, the new Umphreville Block has been an interesting project to follow over the past year or so. Back to hockey, Tyler walked through some of the latest rumours that are circling the Oilers these days, and the group tried to figure out whether or not any of these ideas are actually plausible. Lastly, the guys wrapped things up by welcoming Scott Hastings from OddsShark to the podcast as he helped to break down the NHL playoffs, betting trends from the NFL, and the latest news in the world of sports.
