Leptospirosis is one of the world’s most widespread zoonotic diseases. Signs of disease in dogs can range from subtle to life-threatening, including acute kidney or liver failure. Since rats, wildlife, as well as livestock can spread the disease, most dogs are at risk and should be protected with vaccination.
