  • PREMIERE : Megatronic - The World (Kiko Navarro Remix)
UK-born, Lisbon-based DJ, Producer, Songwriter, and activist Megatronic joins the RNT roster with her ‘Do I Belong To You?’ EP, a bold statement of her soulful and visionary sound.
Side A opens with the deeply emotive ’The World’ featuring soulful and melancholic vocals by Stavros, then moves to the pulsating and freewheeling groove of ‘Nuffin’ But Love’ (co-produced by Jitwam) finishing with the jazzy vibes of ‘Organic’, with Meg’s sultry spoken poetry floating over live instrumentation. On the flip side two superlative remixes by heavyweights Jimpster and Kiko Navarro take Meg’s music straight to the dance floor, with Jimpster bringing is his signature lush deep textures to ‘Been Thinking’ (the original of which is available as part of the digi EP only) and Kiko delivering an acid afro-house banger of a mix on ‘The World.’
A gorgeous listen from beginning to end, this EP captures a sound that feels both classic and futuristic all at once.

  • PREMIERE : Funkinhell & Gypsy Radio - Koni Era
Funkinhell and Gipsy Radio, two Italian artists bound by a friendship of over a decade, have finally come together after years of living in different cities to create their first EP together. From the very beginning of this musical journey, they had a clear goal: to craft something that would encapsulate the sounds and musical styles that have most influenced them throughout their careers. This is how Blitz Risk was born, an EP that pays tribute to the electronic music of the '80s and '90s, created with analog synthesizers, distorted drums, arpeggios, and minimal use of effects.

  • PREMIERE : Silicodisco - Zoo Station
During our endless journey, in the middle of the galaxy we encountered a strange station. Strange animals, dark sounds, strange vibrations have hypnotized us and brought us closer to this strange star-shaped station. A large omniscient eye communicates to us through telepathic waves: A journey does not begin when we leave nor does it end when we reach the destination. The memory continues to flow inside us even after we have stopped. Captain Silicodisco brought us to this place on purpose, he made us discover new powers to tie the dancers to the dancefloor until the last cosmic track. Hypnotic and vibrant waves keep us glued to the colored cosmic lights controlling us with his mind

For Dutch artist Stefan Vincent, the feeling of melancholy also offers the opportunity for beauty to be found. “Decay and loneliness can serve a purpose. Depression can teach you things. To feel deep sadness also means the ability to feel profound emotions.” he says. With this in mind, his debut album on MUSAR Recordings, “Post-Melancholy”, unpacks the twists and turns of grappling with this emotion, drawing from breaks, electro and IDM to make his most intricate work to date, after previous releases on Token, Dynamic Reflection, Symbolism, and Non-Series.
Throughout “Post-Melancholy” Vincent traces the wave of melancholy and how it moves through the body, which allows for lighter moments alongside darker moods. Perhaps the lightest track on the album is its acidic-breaks opener, “Eyes Unclouded”, with its soaring acid lines and dazzling synths, which acts as a false pretense for the rest of the album. Tracks like “Poise”, “Arpeggino” and the meditative “Yonghegong Lama Temple Exit F” also break up the intensity. However, nestled between the more pacey, bass-weighted tracks on the album, these lighter openings still feel like tear-jerkers.
The more common associations of melancholy show up on tracks like “Another Skin To Wear” and “You Know This Isn’t Going To End Well”, which all create a more ominous feel via IDM and the polyrhythmic structures of drum’n’bass. Particularly on “Another Skin To Wear”, which borrows its name from a Radiohead lyric, the track's swooping motion feels realistic to melancholy’s chaotic and often unpredictable path. But, like all great storytellers, Vincent leaves the most poignant moment of the album for last with the rolling “8AM on the Train… (For Maarten)” devoted to his dear friend, Maarten, who sadly passed away at the young age of 36.
This LP is dedicated to Maarten de Vries (1986-2022)

On what feels like a return trip home, 2fox present the remix package of their single ‘So Long’ on Soul Quest records, with the sounds found within dripping with succulent grooves, infectious soulful melodies and some inspired remix work…
2fox consists of Soul Quest label head Max Sinàl and Ivor Novello award winning songwriter/composer Renell Shaw, and the duo have become known the world over for their infectious and refreshing take on house music. Taking inspiration from a wide variety of sources, 2fox always presents their music with heart and emotion on its sleeve, celebrating the vitality of life through rhythm, voices and melody. Profoundly composed, effortlessly delivered, 2fox are a consistent source of fresh air, making music that jams along to the bustle of lives well lived and enjoyed - be it at home or on the dance floor.
‘So Long’ acts as a continued expression of their synergy and shared passion. A skipping rhythm section provides the bedrock for razor sharp melodic sequences to shift in and out of sight, adding depth where required and allowing the bass line to sing so sweetly. What also sings so very sweetly is the vocal performances by Liam Bailey and BB James, who’s unraveling narrative keeps the ears burning with delight throughout. As a whole, the music is deeply engaging, with many layers of heart and soul to swim within, and as a groover it has all the ingredients to keep the night feeling young.
As per tradition now with many of 2fox’s releases, a cohort of remixes compliment the original cut to provide even further feels. Oliver Night provides a broken beat take to proceedings, with plenty of space thrown into the mix to get feet and minds moving. Manoo spreads the grooves out over the horizon line with his version, with an in-depth rhythm section allowing the melodic touches to reach out and kiss the skies above. Coflo’s ’Stripped Back’ mix takes things down to pianos, bass and voice, and suddenly the vibe becomes one of sentimentality and softness, with the energetic spark of the original remaining throughout. Finally, David Bailey takes things into the electronic realm with an up-tempo house laden number that caps off the record in the warmest of ways.
Hypnotic, soulful and absorbing, ‘So Long’ is a single to feel as much as it is to dance too. A number that lasts long into the night, soundtracking the dance and the everyday. The remix work adds the finishing touches, and creates even more listenability. No matter where you find yourself, ‘So Long’ will captivate the heart and the soul…

The three-piece powerhouse that is Super FU, with members Sarah Lazenby, Paul Withey, and Rich Hall, returns to Paper with another long player of Balearic disco brilliance.
The album tips its hat to a wide range of genres and influences, with hints of space disco, psychedelia, synth heavy electronica and the kind of pop that harks back to the glory days of Ibiza. There are hints of the best bits of the best record collections: Crazy P, LCD Soundsystem, Street Sounds Compilations, Prince and Sabres Of Paradise, whilst still totally unique, thanks to the slick sounds, superb production and arrangements.
This is an album to soundtrack European car journeys, sunset alfresco gigs, late-night parties, and the after-hours. It is spellbinding, catchy as hell, and beautiful through and through.

  • PREMIERE : Auroboros - Romain FX Cosmic Dance Remix

  • PREMIERE : Fasme - Crying Robot
Introducing entry number 3 in Analog Concept Records dynamic Various Artists Series. The fast track to long lasting electronic prowess begins with Fasme “Crying Robots” a fusion of atmosphere, permeating pad emotions, electro and even some breaks layers all serenaded by choice bits of dialogue and analogue phone dials and full of stimulating style. Navigation continues with CCO “Solar Sail” where ominous waves of percussion driven House prevail, beneath moody analogue acid basslines heavier than whales, while its chords leave the listener in a hypnotic groove spell.
We continue to fill your cup of tea on side B adding the nutritious ingredients from the mysterious duo UNWONTED with “Frontier”; it's an all out electrofunk affair, punchy and layered with sharp claps, dark dialogues, and an ice cold acid marinated bassline that will heat up the dance floors when it attacks.
The Ep concludes with Serge Geyzel “Flash” a photographic listening experience into relentless electrobass full of atmosphere, fine highs in sonic experimentation, and a doomsday bassline that bangs the speakers and your mind.
Curated carefully for plenty of encores, Analog Concept's Various Artists 3 is here to captivate the souls and floors.
