    Interface Palm returns to Broken District with a new two-tracker crafted for the dancefloor.
    After making a name for himself as a producer and DJ in Brisbane, Interface Palm moved to Melbourne in search of a new creative environment. The move paid off: his debut EP Four To The Flora was released on Beats Of No Nation and received support from independent outlets like Bolting Bits, eventually catching the attention of the French label Broken District. He first contributed a track to the Brokenbits Vol. 2 compilation, before solidifying his place on the label with Curated Space—a mini LP that showcased his full range, moving between broken beat, house, cosmic jazz, and hip-hop, and featuring a collaboration with Melbourne-based bassist and producer Horatio Luna.
    Now, Interface Palm is back on Broken District with a new double single designed for warm, hazy, late-night atmospheres.
    The title track, “Digital Evening”, is a deep-house anthem driven by jazz-infused harmonies reminiscent of the modern UK fusion-jazz scene. It’s a smooth transition piece—from sundown into the night—blending afro-house grooves and lush deep house textures, all underpinned by heavy, saturated low-end treatment.
    On the flip side, “Digital Day” offers a more offbeat take on broken beat, shaped by sun-drenched 90s lo-fi synths. Acting as a daytime counterpart to “Digital Evening,” it leans into a more mental, introspective space—yet still pushes enough low-end energy to keep the dancefloor engaged until the very end.

    Wah Wah 45s are proud to present a collection of remixes reinterpreting and celebrating last year’s Echoes Of Resistance LP, the sophomore album from Afro-electronic duo Raz & Afla. Raz Olsher and Afla Sackey converge worlds through their dynamic fusion of electronic and traditional African rhythms, forging a path that is as bold as it is innovative. Rooted in their deep-seated passion for music and cultural exploration, they seamlessly blend their distinct musical backgrounds to create a unique sonic landscape that captivates audiences worldwide.
    Raz Olsher is a visionary producer and composer known for his boundary-pushing electronic soundscapes, bringing his expertise in blending diverse musical elements to the duo. His meticulous attention to detail and penchant for experimentation form the foundation upon which Raz & Afla's sound thrives.
    Already part of the Wah Wah 45s family with his band Afrik Bawantu, Afla Sackey is an esteemed percussionist and vocalist with roots tracing back to Ghana. He infuses the duo's music with rich traditional African rhythms and melodies. Afla's virtuosity on percussion instruments and his soulful
    vocals add a visceral, organic dimension to their compositions, creating a mesmerising auditory experience that transcends cultural boundaries.
    Together, Raz & Afla defy genre limitations, seamlessly weaving together electronic beats, Afrobeat grooves, and intricate percussive textures. Their music resonates with a deep sense of cultural authenticity and a forward-thinking approach that pushes the boundaries of contemporary music.
    Remixes Of Resistance features an impressive selection of reworks and reinterpretations from some of the duo’s favourite producers, most talented friends and most revered and exciting music makers on the electronic dance music scene.
    Lumberjacks In Hell bossman Marcel Vogel and Seanmont collaborate to deliver a heavy hitting, foot friendly remix of What’s Going On; BBC 6 Music’s Jamz Supernova and partner Sam Interface come through with some serious bass pressure on their version of Shikor Shikor; Razor’n’Tape’s JKriv provides a steady and sophisticated, breakbeat influenced club re-fix of Stefania; and London based DJ, producer and engineer Edward Upton, better known as DMX Krew, tackles We Taya
    with aplomb and comes up with a life affirming Afro-disco/house monster replete with sparkling guitars and keys.
    Elsewhere, competition winners Davin Varda & Buscadora turn out a vibrant and dramatic version of On Da Fone; Maxxi Soundsystem produce a haunting re-work of Mo Ni Fere; and South African producer Esa comes up with a similarly dark and percussive take of Voodoo Zeze which
    hits all the right notes for the late night dance floor.
    On the more eclectic, laid back tip, Greg Surmacz AKA Captain Over creates a typically fractured and wonky re-jig of Babe Moo; label mates Lawne add their own trademark drums, guitar and FX to Ano Be Mumu to create something very special; and finally, newcomer Motion Kin rounds things off with an atmospheric, synth heavy remix of Eno Be Me.
    With a growing discography that includes critically acclaimed releases and collaborations with musicians from around the globe, Raz & Afla continue to carve out their place in the international music scene. Their electrifying live performances are celebrated for their energy and the profound
    connection they forge with audiences, making every show a vibrant celebration of musical diversity and unity.

  • PREMIERE : Hayes Bradley - Total Call
    Hayes Bradley is a composer, producer, and DJ who works across dance music, ambient, and film scoring as well as curating sound for key fashion brands. He has DJed at major events, including Insomniac’s Forever Midnight NYE Festival, as well as in Tokyo, Berlin, and New York. He formerly toured with Kaytranada as part of his American Dance Ghosts group and released his debut EP, ‘These Things Take Time’, back in 2017.
    He has since released three albums, including the critically acclaimed ambient debut ‘1-9’ via Secular Sabbath Records, and two ethereal follow-ups, ‘Anywhere For Now’ & ‘Recommence (I/VII)’. Now he joins L.A. label Stratasonic for his latest musical adventure. This first single is a taster of an eclectic and adventurous forthcoming album, which pairs widescreen progressive, melodic broken beats with introspective songwriting and peak-time club euphoria.
    Says the artist, "'Total Call' is personal chaos. Chaos, most people try to mask by acting normal. If you're crying or fucked up or panicking in public, you try and cover it up. I think everyone should just lean into whatever they are feeling and care less about the people staring back. The drums and synth pulls are masked by a common guitar riff. But in the end, the guitar sound vanishes and you're just left with who you truly are. Whatever that may be, so probably just be that."
    'Total Call' bursts open with gritty, raw guitar riffs that drive straight into thunderous breakbeats built for peak-time intensity. This visceral release of inner tension features sinewy synth lines twisting through the chaos, with a potent bassline that keeps the pressure high. It's honest, unfiltered, and sure to electrify any set.

    We’re pleased to announce that Mirco Violi joined us with an amazing EP called “I Luv Muzik”.
    The main track “I Luv Muzik” is an old school fast groover which could be used in different situations: is it House or Techno? Surely something in between that can bang every dancefloor.
    Second track “Pianomaforte” is the classic “less is more” track: Drums, percussions, dub bass and classi piano riff: early House vibes!
    Last track is “Without you” : essential instrumental stuff with an heavy arpeggiated bassline and dreamy leads which make this track so special.

  • PREMIERE : Morpheme - One Foot In The Grave
    4 UGLY DJs ONLY Vol. ONE: file under alternative dance music — a snarling snapshot of the unconventionally attractive side of underground dance music. Curated for the late-blooming, ugly duckling disco dollies, this seven-track collection veers through busted club experiments, mutant techno, and haunted house heaters.
    Each artist pushes dance music into strange, unconventional terrain — unafraid to embrace the peculiar, the abrasive, and sometimes even the ugly. The release features:
    Thomass Jackson, Argentinian-born and now based in Mexico City, known for releases on Multi Culti and his own Calypso Records dj_2button, UK-born and Vancouver-based, head of the excellent Weirdos Inc imprint;
    HIGHELECTRiX, the debut project of Lisbon’s XCI, presenting their first-ever track under this moniker;
    Etbonz, a familiar name to @Bed_of-Roses-1 followers, with previous releases on Love on the Rocks and Bahnsteig 23;
    @listentomorpheme, a fresh face whose electro-freak-pop debut Collected Pieces recently dropped on EYMS;
    Wormbox, the collaborative alias of Break Mode and Cole Baby, names that are all too familiar in BoR world have recent offerings for Paradia Sound, Ransom Note, and Electric Shapes;
    MagicPink, another Bed Head on the BoR roster, continues to throw more irons into a fire that refuses to be contained. Also recently featured on the Electric Shapes Unreleased Territory vol. 4
    Together, they form a crooked constellation of acid-damaged jams and asymmetrical DJ tools.
