For their second expedition outside of our solar system, La Wild Records summons the Da Graca Brothers — Argentinian by origin, yet long-established voyagers of the Amsterdam Constellation. Their latest sonic artifact, included in the Sun series of our label, is a masterful fusion of US garage music and cosmic jazz harmonics. Vocals drift like a lone comet, spiraling through the interstellar void. Rhythmic pulses chart a course down the solar expressway, driven by a force both celestial and radiant. But it is their command of stellar piano sequences and deep-space synthesizers that truly defines their signature craft.

We are excited to announce the launch of our label with the release of OBERHAUM01, a dynamic Various Artists EP spotlighting producers who have previously featured on our radio. This release showcases three rhythm-driven tracks, each offering a distinctive sonic identity while sharing a common focus on depth and rhythm.

First up is DJ OSX with “Shutting Capes”—a track built on rhythmic percussion and a rolling low end. As it builds, a pad drifts in, adding a layer of emotion and space without losing the drive.

Next, Davut Yildiz delivers “Trigger Response”, blending Middle Eastern-inspired melodies with deep breakbeats and high-pitched, rhythmic, spacey elements to create a sense of expansive depth.

Closing the release, Uksimo presents “Informal”, a minimalist four-to-the-floor groove. With crisp percussion and intricately layered modular synths, the track offers a clean and focused atmosphere.

Evolve was conceptualised out of a love for psychedelic electronic music. Genre-fluid and ever-shifting, EVVA002 presents a deeper, slower sonic palette that defines the label’s evolving identity. From goa-laced club tracks to warped breaks, leftfield IDM and dubbed-out prog and techno, each track adds its own twist to the psychedelic thread that runs through the heart of the label.

Toupaz returns to Control Freak with a 4 track EP of intricate club weapons.

‘Unwind & Dissolve Gently’ showcases the Graz-based artist’s distinctive production flair - one which has developed in style and sophistication since his last outing on CF in 2022 as Awo Ojiji with subsequent releases via Well Street, Grid and Danielle’s Soft Raw imprint.

This collection draws heavy influence from the rich history of the UK scene - from the dubstep-leaning lurch of ‘Ramshackle’ to the introspective electronica of closing track ‘Whats The Mass of Memory?’

Balancing a delicate and subtle sense of melody and restraint with blunt force moments of controlled aggression, Toupaz’s precision sound engineering is guaranteed to send any discerning dancefloor into a frenzy - perfect for those explosive mid-set left turns.
