Hayes Bradley is a composer, producer, and DJ who works across dance music, ambient, and film scoring as well as curating sound for key fashion brands. He has DJed at major events, including Insomniac’s Forever Midnight NYE Festival, as well as in Tokyo, Berlin, and New York. He formerly toured with Kaytranada as part of his American Dance Ghosts group and released his debut EP, ‘These Things Take Time’, back in 2017.

He has since released three albums, including the critically acclaimed ambient debut ‘1-9’ via Secular Sabbath Records, and two ethereal follow-ups, ‘Anywhere For Now’ & ‘Recommence (I/VII)’. Now he joins L.A. label Stratasonic for his latest musical adventure. This first single is a taster of an eclectic and adventurous forthcoming album, which pairs widescreen progressive, melodic broken beats with introspective songwriting and peak-time club euphoria.

Says the artist, "'Total Call' is personal chaos. Chaos, most people try to mask by acting normal. If you're crying or fucked up or panicking in public, you try and cover it up. I think everyone should just lean into whatever they are feeling and care less about the people staring back. The drums and synth pulls are masked by a common guitar riff. But in the end, the guitar sound vanishes and you're just left with who you truly are. Whatever that may be, so probably just be that."

'Total Call' bursts open with gritty, raw guitar riffs that drive straight into thunderous breakbeats built for peak-time intensity. This visceral release of inner tension features sinewy synth lines twisting through the chaos, with a potent bassline that keeps the pressure high. It's honest, unfiltered, and sure to electrify any set.

The main track “I Luv Muzik” is an old school fast groover which could be used in different situations: is it House or Techno? Surely something in between that can bang every dancefloor.

Together, they form a crooked constellation of acid-damaged jams and asymmetrical DJ tools.

The Escapologist drops an impressive entry onto the electronic music scene for 2025 with the single "Piano Grooves." Seamlessly fusing intricate piano passages, with sleek strings and contemporary House production, the track crafts an immersive sonic atmosphere that resonates both emotionally and rhythmically. Demonstrating musicianship and subtle yet sophisticated textures.

Carefully layered melodics intertwining effortlessly with precise beats. The Escapologist’s confident approach bridges musicality with the dance floor sensibilities of modern electronica, hinting at influences from classic piano house to more underground beats. James Young steps up for his first release on QRUK with the Nagasaki EP, a dark and driving UKG cut that leans into the moodier edges of Garage and Speedy G. The North Wales-based producer has already made waves with House releases on labels like Smashin Trax and Pogo House, but this new EP sees him pushing into heavier, more dancefloor-focused territory. Nagasaki is packed with chopped-up drums, eerie textures and a tough low-end that hits hard.

On remix duties is Kabo Cana, returning to the label after making a big impression with his debut I DON'T UNDERSTAND. His take on Nagasaki flips the original into a more club-ready, 90s inspired roller full of sub pressure and tight percussion. It's another strong showing from the Manchester-based producer who's quickly becoming an exciting name in the new wave of UKG.
