Serving, Service with the Gary Sinise Foundation - Today we feature retired US Army Captain, Leslie Nicole Smith. Leslie is an Ambassador for the Gary Sinise Foundation. 
Leslie developed life threatening medical complications while deployed from a blood clot. The situation elevated quickly and upon arrival back in the US at Walter Reed. Capt Smith was immediately medically retired from service and added to an imminent death protocol. Luckily Leslie survived but gave up a leg and her eyesight to do it.  

Pete A Turner leads Leslie through her story and we get to learn about how her and Isaac her service dog are making their world a better place.
