K: Yes, it is.

「本当に綺麗だね。」

A: Can you play?

「ギター弾ける？」

K: Yes. I can play the guitar.

「うん。弾けるよ。」

A: That’s so cool!

「かっこいい！」

Practice:

● I can play the guitar.

「わたしはギターを弾くことができます。」

canは「できる」という意味で助動詞。

play the guitar「ギター全般弾けますよ」という意味のthe。

● I can swim.y baseball.

「わたしは野球をすることができます。」

●I can swim.

「わたしは泳ぐことができます。」

swim「泳ぐ」
