今日のターゲットセンテンス「家にいたよ。」

Conversation: 

K: Where did you go this morning?

「今朝、どこに行ってた？」

A: I was at home.

「家にいたよ。」

K: Really? I visited your house to give you some vegetables.

「本当？野菜あげようと思って家に行ったんだよ。」

A: Sorry. I didn’t hear the doorbell. 

「ごめん。ピンポン聞こえなかった。」

K: It’s okay. I can come back later.

「いいよ。あとでまた行くね。」

Practice:

●I was at home.

「私は家にいました。」

wasはbe動詞のam / isの過去形です。ちなみにareの過去形はwereになります。

be動詞には「いる/ある」という意味があるので、過去形になると「いた/あった」という意味になります。

●I was busy with homework.

「私は宿題をしていて忙しかった。」

●I was with my friends.

「私は友達といました。」

A: Yeah. A little.

「うん。ちょっとね。」」

met「meet　会うの過去形」

●I took a bath already.

「もうお風呂に入ったんだ。」

took「takeの過去形」take a bath「お風呂に入る」

●I had a house party.

「私はハウスパーティーをひらきました。」

had「have　ひらくの過去形」

haveにはたくさん意味があります。「持っている」「ある」「食べる」「ひらく」

Lesson 32: What did you eat today?

今日のターゲットセンテンス

「今日、何食べた？」

A: I’m starving.

「お腹ペコペコだ。」

K: You’re always hungry. 

「いつもお腹空いてるよね。」

A: Not always.

「いつもじゃないよ。」

K: What did you eat today?

「今日何食べた？」

A: I ate some natto for breakfast and anpan for lunch.

「朝食に納豆食べて、お昼ご飯にあんパン食べた。」

K: That’s it?! It’s dinnertime now. Eat something!

「それだけ？もう夜ご飯の時間でしょ。なんか食べなよ！」

A: Hai~

Practice:

●What did you eat today?

「今日、何食べた？」

Whatを過去の疑問文の前にくっつけると「何を〜しましたか？」という意味。

●I ate a juicy steak.

「私は肉汁たっぷりのステーキを食べたよ。」

ate「eat　食べるの過去形」

●What did you do on the weekend?

「週末、何してたの？」

do「する」

●I made an apple pie for my family.

「家族にアップルパイを作ったよ。」

made「make　作るの過去形」

●What did you watch on Netflix?

「ネットフリックスで何観たの？」

●I watched Mandalorian.

「マンダロリアン見たよ。」

K: Oh, okay. Did you buy anything good?

「そうなんだね。何かいいもの買った？」

A: Yes, I bought a new blender.

「うん。新しいブレンダー買ったの。」

K: You can make nice smoothies.

「美味しいスムージー作れるね。」

A: Yup. I love smoothies.

「うん。スムージー大好きなんだ。」

Practice:

●I went shopping with my friends.

「私は友達と買い物へ行った。」

wentはgoの過去形。不規則に変化するので不規則動詞と呼ぶ。

●I saw a movie yesterday.

「私は昨日映画を観ました。」

saw「see　見るの過去形」

●I bought a new pair of shoes.

「私は新しい靴を一足買いました。」

bought「buy 　買うの過去形」
