How many of you, when you leave your homes, you leave the doors unlocked? How about when you go to bed? While there was a time when that could be done in this country, sadly, those days are gone for the most part. In the Apostle John’s time cities had walls with gates, and guards to protect them. Pastor Mark will be teaching about Jesus’ showing John what the New Jerusalem will be like. You’ll discover that it’s going to be quite a different city than what you’re used to seeing. You’ll learn what living on earth is going to be like when God is in full control of things, with no sin whatsoever.

No matter how satisfied you are with how your life’s going, there’s always the question, “Is this as good as it gets?” - isn’t there? There’s a little frustration with how some aspects of your life’s going and you don’t see it getting any different or better. Pastor Mark will be teaching that you’re right to feel that frustration. He’ll be explaining why you feel it, and providing you with the solution to your frustration. Whether you want to accept this explanation or not is up to you. Pastor Mark will encourage you to open your mind to possibilities you haven’t yet considered.

Most people like getting new stuff. Pick your favorite item, and it’s pretty certain that there are times when you daydream of a newer version. Well, God likes new stuff, too. After all, He created a new universe out of nothing! He also likes to make people new. He likes rescuing them from death and giving them the life He always wanted them to have. Pastor Mark will be teaching about something else new that God’s going to make – a new heaven and earth. You’ll hear about the reasoning for God’s re-creation of what you see around you, and how it’ll be different from what’s in existence now.

Most everyone’s watched a TV show that has a courtroom scene. Have you ever watched one of these and wondered what it’d be like to stand in front of a judge? Well, in Pastor Marks’ teaching today, you’ll discover that every single person in history is going to stand in front of a Judge. And that Judge will be Jesus Christ Himself. And, you’ll be standing all alone. No support people or animals, no way to escape. Your answer to Christ’s call to you in this life will determine which judgment seat Jesus will judge you from. You’ll find out more about this in the teaching today.

There’s been this thought for a long time that people who obey God are not ‘fun’ to be around, while those in open rebellion against God are the ‘fun’ people. This thought has, of course, been pushed by those who don’t want to submit to God. Sadly for them, they will discover that what they thought about hell was wrong. Pastor Mark will be teaching about the final judgments and what’s going to happen to the people who will end up with God, and those who will be sent to the lake of fire. You’ll learn that there’s no fun in hell; only fire and brimstone, and no sense of God’s love at all.

People around the world believe that God would never punish them for the life they led. After all, they weren’t as bad as that ‘other’ guy – they never killed anyone or robbed them, after all. They’re going to find out, however, that God’s standard is a whole lot higher. Pastor Mark will be teaching about what happens after the end of this world. You’ll find out about the two judgments – yes, two – and who will be judged in those judgments. You’ll hear about the judgement of Christ followers by Jesus, and what they’ll be judged about. And, you’ll find out how to have a good result in those judgments.

For a long time, behavioral scientists have had the idea that people’s actions are determined by their environment. They believe that if you take someone from a bad living situation and moved them to a better living situation that the student will improve. Unfortunately this doesn’t solve the problem of what’s inside the men and women. Pastor Mark will be teaching about the problem of sin. He’ll be telling you that your frustration in trying to live your life properly stems from the nature you were born with. When people think about the end times and Jesus’ second return, a lot of the focus is on what happens to people - and that’s understandable. But one aspect that can be missed is what’s happening to the planet earth itself during this time. While the Antichrist is waging war and doing all of his evil, the planet will be suffering as well. Huge hailstones, earthquakes, oceans of blood! Pastor Mark will be teaching about God’s final judgment on man which will include the fall’s effect on the physical world. God’s going to make everything right, and it’s gonna be glorious!

It’s probably impossible for you to think of a time when there wasn’t war or the threat of war. Even on a personal level, there are almost always conflicts of some sort simmering, threatening to boil over into open conflict. The ability to live without either of those would be amazing. Well, Pastor Mark’s going to be teaching about a time like that which is to come. You’ll hear about the reign of Jesus and how He’s gonna take away war. You’ll be learning about what’s called “The Millenium”, the thousand year reign of Jesus on the earth. You’ll discover that it’ll be an exciting time to be alive.

Do you understand that this world has an expiration date? That there’ll be a point in time when all decisions will have no chance to be undone? Sure, you know that each person has an expiration date – it’s called death. But you probably don’t think that the universe has one of those. Well, Pastor Mark will be teaching about that universal expiration date. You’ll learn what’s going to bring about that final date and, more importantly, Who will bring that date to pass. You’ll find out what is going to happen prior to that day, and how you can find yourself on the right side of that event.
