In this episode, I address some of the overarching themes in the feature film Queen & Slim. While I’m not a movie critic, I can appreciate social messaging that is woven into pieces of art and the challenges they bring to light. Some of the themes I address in this episode are black love, black police, protecting black life at all costs, black businesses, black community building, trusting black people, and white allies.
