The 80's saw a plethora of strong, Conservative world secular and religious leaders make a positive impact on the global situation.  Both social commentators and authors also predicted the issues we face now...everything form the economy to Planned Parenthood.

So is it possible we have prophets in our time, just as there were in biblical times...and we're no better at heeding their warnings today than the ancients were back then?

Let's take a look at what the confluence of leaders in the 1980's created and compare that with what those of the 21st century have done so far.Perhaps it doesn't take a prophet...just some common sense.
