Lessons In The Ladder Days

This episode was inspired by spending time with the Lord on the final day of the festival of Sukkot (called Shemini Atzeret), ending the High Holy Days of the yearly Fall Festivals.  This time of study was particularly inspiring since this festival is the one most people of faith know very little about.

This episode was written in the middle of the night as I felt an urgency by the Lord since Rosh Hashanah is less than two weeks away and most Christians do not understand that to devout Jews, this day is THE most important day of the year!  I am alarmed by the dangerous assumption Christians make that this day is no big deal.

I had just written to Media Partners explaining the work going on behind the scenes to assure that my programs (Lessons in the Ladder Days and Shabbat Shalom) are funded and in place, regardless of when I may leave this earth!

One partner wrote right back to ask:  "Why do you believe that some Christians will be left behind at the Resurrection?"

As of this writing, we are less than a month away from Rosh Hashanah 2026, which I have been teaching as part of the "Final Week of the Church Age" series as the possible date of Jesus' coming at the First Resurrection.

For the last six months, the Lord has been drawing my attention to something I had not seen earlier – which has caused me to re-think my initial supposition.  

This is a critically important episode, and I publish it out of all transparency – to communicate WHY my views began to change – and SHOW how I am viewing the timetable now for the coming Resurrection.

From time to time, I will share teaching segments from my weekly program, Shabbat Shalom.  This episode is taken from the Ask The Rabbi segment with Rabbi Michael Washer that begins HOUR 2.  Part #15 was a particularly strong teaching I felt prompted to share with you as we learn more about God's ways.  

The first few minutes addresses a listener's question about the "Shroud of Turin"  movement gaining popularity within Christian circles.  The bulk of the teaching then addresses how God will deal with Hellenized Christianity according to Leviticus 12 - 15.

This episode was inspired by our current Torah studies on Numbers 12 which recounts the worst day of Miriam's life.

Not only was Miriam a gifted prophet herself..but the Lord has chosen to use her being afflicted with leprosy and driven outside the camp to speak to our generation!

The parallels are astounding... the message is sobering.  Thankfully, though, we have time to "hear the warnings" and do something about it...Glory to God!

This episode begins what I believe may be my final series in Lessons in the Ladder Days simply because I believe the Lord is coming at the First Resurrection soon!  If the analysis of my research is correct, I won't be here long.

This series was inspired by a significant 2025 dream, which I will share in its entirety:  What the Lord has led me to do before I go…and what to pass on to others.  This is NOT a time to be passive and just listen to person after person.  It is time to DO YOUR OWN PREPARATORY WORK.
