The end, at times, might seem out of sight. All you see is sand or sea depending on where you are journeying through however, if you keep moving, you will get to your goal. If you want to move forward to something bigger and better, it is a great idea to do so with your friends, with your community. However, it is also ok to leave behind people that are not willing or ready to move forward with you. If you don't leave them behind, you won't move forward. It sucks. It hurts but you have to decide what's more important to you: moving forward or staying with friends. Also, are they really your friends if they don't want you to move forward, if they don't want you to grow? #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 60: Get Some Help

I used to suck at this but thankfully, I'm doing a lot better. No matter how awesome you are, it is important to be comfortable with reaching for help when you need it because we can't do everything alone. Also when you are called on to help, be sure to, as long as you have the capacity and capability too. This means you should understand that people can't help you every time but it is important you call out for help when you need it. #LessonsWithAKing

If you let dirty dishes pile, well, they are not just going to magically become clean. They have to be made clean to become clean. So if you make a mess, it's on you to clean it up or it will sit there waiting till you do come to clean it up. It is always on you to take responsibility for your messes. #LessonsWithAKing

Lesson 58: Sometimes You Have To Use A Different Door

We might get used to always having access through a certain door. Only to get to the door and oops, it's closed. Being flexible and adaptable is important in everything we do especially when we get used to things. Knowing where the other door is and being comfortable with using it is important because someday, the one you are used to will be closed and you'll have no other choice but to use a different door. #LessonsWithAKing

I am lucky I get to create cool things with my friends, my Avengers, all the time. It's beautiful because I get to learn every time we create something new. The other cool thing is that we all have something we can point to and go "hey, I played a role in bringing that cool thing to life!".
