Chosen from an open casting for the leading juvenile role in Lance Daly's award winning feature Life's A Breeze with Fionnula Flanagan and Pat Shortt (See Official Trailer below), Kelly was nominated for a Lead Actress Film IFTA Award in 2014. Actor Zachary Quinto presented Kelly with the Bingham Ray New Talent Award at the 2013 Galway Film Fleadh. Since then Kelly has been cast in a guest lead in RTE's most successful TV drama, Love Hate and appeared in season four of the show in the Autumn of 2013. Kelly appeared in John Carney's feature film Sing Street opposite Aidan Gillen and Jack Reynor. Kelly then played the role of Corrina Mallon on RTE's mini - series Clean Break directed by Gillies MacKinnon. Kelly stars opposite Will Poulter in the upcoming short film Bainne; the directorial debut of Jack Reynor. Bainne won Best First Short Drama upon the films premiere at Galway Film Fleadh 2019. She also portrays the lead role of Ava, in Banjoman Films' production Twin, directed by Ciarán Dooley.
