Three men want George Valentine to find out who’s been using the little town of Summer Springs as collection headquarters for city rackets. They want him to do it before the federal grand jury moves in. George Valentine thinks this might be an interesting case if he would ever get to work on it. The trouble is getting out from behind the eight ball because as matters stand he is wanted by the police for murdering himself. . .
