So many of us have been there. Stepping away from the desk and taking a break causes you more stress than it relieves? Self-care is an interesting concept but practicing it in reality…not a thing.  


Constant worrying about productivity has been engrained in us from the American culture of the self-care industrial complex. But it doesn’t have to be that way! This week we are joined by the Good Doctor Kristen Donnelly who talks to us all about how productivity, self-care, and how to finally step away from the desk and take a break without having your mind going a mile a minute about what might be happening.


Kristen Donnelly is a TEDx speaker, international empathy educator, and researcher with two decades of experience in helping people understand the beauty in differences and the power of inclusivity. 


Other topics we dive into include the communal grief that the pandemic has laid on us all and the lack of a path towards processing the grief, American culture, values, and norms, finding joy & happiness, and the ability to make the choice to experience a new day every day.
