This week on Clutching our Pearls we are joined by Jody Milward, the self-described “accidental entrepreneur”. Rather than returning to a traditional 9-5 office job after having kids, Jody wanted something else. But what came next wasn’t clear, Jody went on to explore various roles from being a Private Investigator to her current area of expertise of digital marketing where she now generates over 7 figures in revenue! Trauma can sit with us undealt with for years and years, lying dormant but still causing us tension in our daily lives. This trauma and tension has only built up in recent years with society going through the collective trauma of dealing with the pandemic and the constant news stream of mass shootings.

We are joined by the author of “A Pathway to Insight: Recapture your childhood buzz”, Ann Hince this week to discuss this issue of trauma & tension and to find a path forward. When Ann was 19, she woke one morning to find her mother dead in her bathroom. Twenty years later the tears from that trauma were still just under the surface. But, Ann found a simple technique that helped her release these emotions and she went further and can now put her awareness inside her body and has changed the bone structure of her skull and grown ½ an inch taller at age 55. Ann has found that seeking out our truth, what we truly feel, and accepting those feelings, is the key to inner peace. 

It is time to find freedom from trauma and tension and for us to no longer allow it to weigh us down. Get ready to break free from the darkness and learn about the emotional freedom technique. Jessica Bryar is currently a National Channel Director where she works on strategic channel partnerships at one of the largest Global Carriers, where she is not the anomaly in the sales world. She is no longer the only woman in the room, from strong female leadership to building a team of her own that is all-female, she is part of the change.

Before this role, she was a Global Account Manager for the Central region, where she helped multinational companies with their global connectivity, security, telecommunications, and SD-WAN solutions.

She also was Sales Director/cloud solutions for Sandler Partners (formally X4 Communications). Where she helped partners and their clients move network, storage, emails, and other applications to the cloud.

Prior to Sandler partners, Bryar has worked at various technology companies ranging from Managed Service Providers to Private Cloud Manufacturers. Additionally,  Bryar has been featured in the book, “How to Be a Woman in Technology”.

Lastly, she  is the Current Operations Chair for Cloud Girls, (a nonprofit technology group that helps out women in technology and mentors the next generation.)
