In today’s episode, we’re going to discuss what happens when you blend shiny object syndrome with a splash of procrastination.

Here are 3 surefire signs you’ve got shiny object syndrome bad…

1. Inability to finish projects – when you get excited about a new project before completing the first one, jumping ship on a project before you even launch or get results. Here’s an example. Last year, I created 20 courses. I launched one and made $500 in 5 Days and went on to create another one.

2. Strategies without execution – you know what you need to do, but don’t do it. My energy ignites the moment I get into creation mode. The thought of developing new products and launch strategies are my love languages.

3. Burning through cash – when I started my business, you can probably guess that I jumped in with both feet. I wanted the branding, sales funnels, lead magnets, bots, automation – I wanted all the tech. I subscribed to all of the tools, costing me nearly $1000 each month before I even got started. What happened? I got burnt out from watching endless hours of video trying to learn all the things, so I got frustrated and cancelled the services, leaving me with debt and nothing to show for it.

Today, I encourage you to think about your day and where you’re spending your time. Our daily habits reveal the truth, so there’s no cheating. Where are you spending the bulk of your time?

What are you focusing on each day? Are you daily tasks producing your desired results?

Are you paying attention to the number of calls, reachouts, connections, conversations and closes you’re working on each day?

Are you getting ready to get ready?
