Todays episode we delve into the world of the cliché and why people love to drop one in the face of shitty news.

Despite the lack of comfort that come from most cliché's we need to remember these beautiful humans are just trying to comfort us.

Someone giving us a cliché is mostly because they probably don't know what to say in the face of this news. 

So we need to be grateful that they're a part of our circle, and are holding space for us to discuss what we are going through. 

If you're delivering a cliché, think about whether there is something more deep, meaningful and honest that you can deliver.
