How cold is it on the planets in our solar system?  We find out.

It’s decades in the making — the James Webb Space Telescope is on time, still somewhat on budget and ready to launch into space late 2018.  The discoveries that await us can very well detect alien life in our lifetime.  

Or the crank that is meant to expand the telescope in space could get too cold and not work.  

It’s a marvel of modern scientific thinking.  We look at the history of the Hubble Telescope and the troubles it faced and what the Webb Telescope can mean for discovery.  We also look at the Apollo 10 mysterious alien sounds, massive black holes and a gravitational wave update.

It was a major week for space geeks — scientists were able to measure for the first time in history space time ripples from gravitational waves.  Billions of light years away, two black holes collide, and it stretched you and the Earth by 1/1000th the size of a proton.  

I also look at the ripples of student loans, and the impact of forgiving debt in the United States.

Episode 2 — fueling a trip to the moon with coffee.

We look at the history of coffee, the unusual stories about how it was invented, putting coffee in a gas tank and sending it to the moon and collecting the prize money.  

That’s a lot of money for a selfie.
