On this week's episode, we sit down with Khurrum Wahid, founder and Chairman of Emgage. 

Khurrum dives into the background for Emgage's existence and why he felt that Muslim Americans did not have a seat at the table. Now, Khurrum is running for office in Coral Springs for City Council. Tune in to find out why he feels now is the right time for more Muslim Americans to run for office to be the representation for the Muslim American communities around the US. 

This week, we are joined again by Nabila Mansoor in a different capacity. Not only is she running for City Council in Sugarland, TX, she is also one of our Census experts at Emgage. Nabila helps us understand the impact of the upcoming 2020 census. This particular census has brought about much controversy given the potential addition of the citizenship question, as well as many other considerations that will impact communities. Tune in on a insightful discussion on what used to be the most boring topic ever!
