The NFL season gives us it’s finale this weekend and it is full of drama. With the NFL shifting more and more divisional games to week 17, the importance of every game and matchup has heightened.

It’s that time of year where, if we are going to see a team really heat up for the playoffs, it’s going to happen now. We take a look at the teams that are really turning it on in December and who may barely make the playoffs, but make a big impact once they get there.

Roger Goodell gets the pot stirring again, this time, with talk of extending the playoffs. We take a look at this idea and try to give some thoughts on what we think might be the reasoning behind it.
