In an effort to boost inclusive growth in the city-state and protect the most vulnerable groups from high inflation, Singapore's next prime minister hinted that the wealthy may face more taxes. As Singapore's income inequality has narrowed based on the Gini coefficient, the government probably should "lean more towards inclusive growth," said deputy prime minister Lawrence Wong.
