  • Ep. 45 - Jennifer's Body and The Invitation (a Karyn Kusama double feature)
To celebrate Women In Horror Month, Kayla gathered her co-hosts for a discussion of one of her favorite filmmakers: Karyn Kusama.
Together they discuss Kusama's career from Girlfight to Destroyer, taking some extra time to focus on the director's latest full-length genre works. The Jennifer's Body discussion begins in earnest around 14:22, and The Invitation talk starts at 53:55.

  • Ep. 42 - Call Me By Your Name and Weep
This week, a brand new guest joins to discuss our new favorite house guest! Charlie joins Tyler and Kayla to talk about Call Me By Your Name, and they have a lot to work through. Armie Hammer's chin and Sufjan Stevens' songs alone could inspire lengthy soliloquys.
But first, they dive into some recent watches, including other 2018 Oscar nominees, a surprisingly delightful police show, and a modern horror classic.

  • Ep. 41 - A New Co-host Recaps Halloween

She joins Kayla and Tyler to discuss the right holiday, Halloween, and it gets *occasionally* ***SPOILERY*** See the show notes for timestamps, just in case there's a movie you want to wait on!

  • Ep. 40 - One Cube Is Enough
Gabe Aikins returns to with a single Cube. Well, he watched the other Cubes, and we'll gladly let him bite that bullet. He and Tyler discuss the mathematically defined number of sides in a cube, as well as the bright spots in what is a dated, budget-constrained little premise film.
Fun fact: a remake called Cubed is, allegedly, on the way. May the unknown overlords of our own Earth cube have mercy.

  • Ep. 39 - So The Devil and The Changeling walk into a house...
Today, a double feature! Sean Laughery returns to talk two spooky houses with Tyler as they discuss Ti West's 2009 slow burn favorite THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL and Peter Medak's 1980 should-be cult classic THE CHANGELING.
They discuss what makes both so wonderfully terrifying and the house and non-house parallels that can be drawn between the two. But to spoil it a bit, both should be entries in your annual celebrations of our greatest holiday.
    Also, Tyler eats a pancake.
