Some people say you can be sinlessly perfect in this life. Some say you can lose your salvation if you don't. I look at 1 John 1 to refute this teaching. People try to rob people of their joy by teaching this, but John says in vs. 8, "'And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full."

-In vs. 15 of 2 Cor. 5 we are sons of God/children of God. Gal. 3:26/Rom. 8:14-18

-In vs. 17 of Rom. 8 we are heirs/joint-heirs with Christ/ Titus 3:1-9
