Thalia Martin is one hell of a woman. After her dreams of tennis stardom were dashed by a recurring injury, she turned to golf- her second passion- which she found by accident after a long waiting time for a restaurant table..

At the older than most but still young, at the age of 20 with a respectable 5 handicap, she decided to see how far she could take her game and it led her all the way to the professional ranks. Where this season she has already accomplished two wins, one on the sunshine ladies tour and one on LETAS at the Maedef Golfs Ladies Open by Saidia Resorts. There she became the first player to win on this tour outside Europe!!

Life on tour has not been without its stuggles, at the back end of 2023 she lost her father to a long term health struggle… but just remarkably kept going, earnt her let card for 2024 and now this season she looks to get her full card back…. With of course her mother, caddy and best firend sitti always doing it alongside her… welcome to LETAS chat... Thalia Martin.

She's Back--- not just this podcast but Denmark's Amalie Leth-Nissen after winning the opening event of the 2025 season- the Terre Blanche Ladies Open.

Leth-Nissen had a glittering amateur career and did competed at all the top events,  winning for team Europe at the Vagliano trophy, PING Junior, 2019 European Girls' Team Championship and lead her team to a third-place finish in the 2022 European Ladies' Team Championship alongside her sister Cecilie. (who also plays on tour) 

Leth-Nissen turned professional after securing a place on the 2023 Ladies European Tour in December 2022 and clinching her LET card….

At her first LET start, she tied for 7th at the Magical Kenya Ladies Open but then things in her own words fell apart… after losing her card on LET, she came back to LETAS and now it seems she’s found that form again….

This star seems to be back on the rise…..

It's a wrap 🎬 The team behind LETAS are back to chat about all things 2024! The season  brought many fantastic moments on the golf course. 

From spectacular shots to tear-jerker moments to amazing celebrations, this season had it all and we chat about it all from spilling the tea on our graduates to reflecting on all our favourite moments.

France’s Ariane Klotz had an incredibly consistent season on the LET Access Series to clinch the last LET card available for 2025. Get to know our last woman standing better..

Growing up on the French island of New Caledonia in the pacific, Ariane started playing golf at age 10 and was immediately hooked. 

At 18 years old, Ariane accepted a full golf scholarship at University of Delaware. Ariane spent 4 years competing here alongside studying for a degree in civil engineering. During those 4 years, she was chosen as team captain for her last two years and was named the Team's Most Valuable Player for 4 consecutive years. 

Being both brains and talent, Ariane then headed to Switzerland to complete a master’s degree in civil engineering from one of Europe's top school, EPFL. She graduated in October 2023 and then knew it was time to live out her dream of becoming a professional golfer…

Yet through others, Ariane heard that many thought she would never make it and now she has proved them wrong. Listen to her inspirational story now.

England’s Megan Dennis had a sensational rookie season on the LET Access Series (LETAS) which culminated in clinching her LET card for 2025.

From nearly quitting the sport two years ago to securing her card, getting full status on the LET was a dream come true for Dennis.

The path to progress onto the LET is not an easy one and no one knows that more that Norway’s Tina Mazarino.  

It’s been a longer journey to earn her LET card for Tina Mazarino who has played on LETAS since 2019.

England’s Billie-Jo Smith had an amazing season on LETAS and fulfilled a long-awaited dream by walking away with a full LET card for 2025. 

Smith self-described her season as “the most consistent to date”, and it certainly was. The 25-year-old from Nottinghamshire earnt nine top 10 finishes including finishing the season with three runner-up positions after losing out on three consecutive play offs. 

Whilst it was heartbreaking to witness Smith lose out on three wins, the Belton Woods player knew it was part of the longer game to finish third in the LETAS Order of Merit. 

From injury to performance knockbacks, it's fair to say Smith hasn't gone down the usual route and her story is such an inspiration. So give it a listen.

For the first time, LETAS is heading to Slovakia for the Ladies Slovak Golf Open. The event, previously on the LET schedule has not been held for 10 years, and has now found its new home on LETAS.

To mark the occasion, we welcomed a special guest. Zuzana Kamasová.

Zuzana made history in 2011 at the Lalla Meryem Cup when, after receiving an invitation to the tournament, she became the first Slovakian and Eastern European to win on the Ladies European Tour. 

Amazingly, that year she only expected three starts at best, she went onto play a full tournament schedule thanks to the win

What’s even more remarkable is that at the time Slovakia just had 6000 registered golfers emphasising the hard work, Zuzana had to put in to get to that stage. 

In 2013 she retired from the tour and has since worked for the Slovak Golf Association as a General Secretary, an assistant golf coach for the Ladies Team and she became a part of the board until the start of this year. 

A certified PGA coach Kamasova is busier these days working as a commentator for YOISH SPORT, which broadcasts LIVGOLF.

HOST HUSTED IN THE HOUSE!! Welcome Natacha to LETAS Chat. This was an honest, entertaining chat all about how hard your rookie year on tour can be. Whilst Natacha finally had her dreams come true with a win in Sweden at the PGA Championship Gothenburg, her start to tour life has not been the easiest.

We also chat about her time at Ole Miss and get to the bottom of why we are seeing so many Ole Miss Graduates on tour! Natacha also chats about the importance of finding your circle and the importance of having a special few people to have your back.
