Dean, Paul & Gary discuss the Adam Smith Institute proposal which is ranked bottom for truthfulness in the league table of Think Tanks. It fails to answer one simple question, Who will you give the badges to? Currently it is a merit based system anyone can earn a badge. Take that away & you create a financial or queueing system. The merit system is by far & away the fairest & most favourable system to have. Technology could be astounding & still not solve who should get a badge.
