We can’t keep living and doing the same things even though we say we are a “new creation”. We need to accept the new challenges God has for us, he uses those challenges for us to grow.

Right from the beginning, we can see that this Samaritan woman was not seen as someone worthy of communicating with a Jew.  She is set apart, and not in a good way. In fact, even though it is probably hot outside, she herself cannot even believe that someone is asking her to get them a drink.

This parable is a continuation of a conversation Jesus started with his disciples in the previous chapter. In Matthew 24 Jesus tells them what will happen at the end of the age. He gives them the signs that will signify that his return is near. After letting them know of these signs, Jesus tells them this parable of the 10 virgins.

Worship is declaring the greatness of someone or something. It is the act of giving up your own glory to make sure everyone knows that the thing being worshiped is above all else. When you worship, amazing things happen that leave a mark on your life.

To be spiritually dead is to be separated from God. When Adam sinned in Genesis 3:6, he ushered in death for all humanity. God’s command to Adam and Eve was that they could not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The immediate spiritual death resulted in Adam’s separation from God. His act of hiding from God (Genesis 3:8) demonstrates this separation, as does his attempt to shift blame for the sin to the woman (Genesis 3:12).

We all know about Easter but we don't all fully understand the significance as to why it is celebrated. In this episode, we share all the controversies that are made from Easter and the real significance and why we celebrate it. 

Now is the time to start spreading the gospel as believers, especially since the enemy is starting to be more obvious about his evil acts. 

1 John 3:13-15.

13 Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters,[a] if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15 Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

Spiritual Gifts are a grace and anointing that is given to each person through the Holy Spirit. They are designed like an ability to be a point of leverage for each believer. Their purpose is for building and encouraging people. You use your gift to impact the life of another person. These abilities, often termed "charismatic gifts", are the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, increased faith, the gifts of healing, the gift of miracles, prophecy, the discernment of spirits, diverse kinds of tongues, interpretation of tongues. Spiritual gifts are something every believer is given when they receive the gift of salvation. Just as the gift of salvation is by grace through faith, so are the spiritual gifts. Our God is so generous. He is constantly giving us things.
