Let's Dance With Me. Boost Your Health While Learning Fancy Moves with Sergey Vasilyev

Listen Later

Dancing regularly, besides providing tons of fun, is a scientifically proven method to improve physical health, keep a sharp mind, and nurture a basic human need: community.

In this episode, I'm joined by the Founder of Let's Dance With Me studio in Naples, Florida, Sergey Vasilyev. Born and raised in Russia in post-Soviet Union times, Sergey was convinced by his mother to avoid traditional male hobbies, like soccer or karate, and lean into activities that would make him a gentleman, like dancing. Many years later, dancing became the answer to Sergey's ambition for a better life and his unstoppable drive to always aim for the next level.

Throughout this episode, Sergey shares his fascinating life story, from learning how to dance at age seven to immigrating to America and starting his own dancing studio. You'll also learn about dancing's multiple benefits for physical and mental health, the importance of finding the right dance instructor, how dancing can improve individuals' lives, and much more.

Tune in to episode 49 of RADitude and discover a whole new access to a healthy and fulfilling life while having a great time and leveling up your dance game.
