If I could share the one piece of advice that nearly every successful woman I look up to has told me, talked about, or taught, it would be time blocking. Now, time blocking is something that ya either love or hate. For some the idea of living their lives with daily structure is exciting, and for others, they loathe the idea of being changed to a rigid schedule. I’m here to tell you, time blocking will change your life… AND it does not have to be what you think it is. As type A as I can be, it took me a long time to get into the groove of time blocking, but it was because I had been going about it all wrong. Today I want to share a step by step how I create my time block so that I have structure and freedom at the same time!
Write It In Pencil
Step 1 Priorities
Step 2 Personal/Family
Step 3 Business
Step 4 Household

Social Media…ah, the love hate relationship I have for it. Especially Instagram… but really, just social in general. Everyone is trying to keep up with the trends, the influencers, create the perfect strategy, “beat” the algorithm… and at the end of it all, we end up losing ourselves trying to create this professional and trendy image. Oftentimes, we end up building our entire brand around who we think we need to be, which only holds us back! One thing that has always been super important to me is being REAL on social media, being vulnerable, being true to who YOU are, and building your entire brand around that… around YOU. This is such a scary thing for so many people, and so many people have a hard time wrapping their head around the idea of how this works. If you’ve been with me for a while, you’ve heard me talk about some of the objections I hear like: “But I’m building a business, I want people to see me as a professional”, or “what does my life have to do with what I’m selling”. A recent (favorite) objection I’ve heard was “I’m a professional building my business. I’m not going to plaster my page in puppies and babies because I’m here to build my business”... Yikes. For me, puppies and babies are a huge part of who I am! And that’s how I’ve built my successful businesses. So, today we are going to get into a few tips to help you show up as who YOU are on social media AND continue to build the brand and business you’ve dreamt of!
Create A Strategy
Show Your Face
Utilize Stories
STOP Trying To Be Perfect
Make Real Connection

Summer is coming! And while I’m gearing up for maternity leave, many of you are likely gearing up for your kids to be home all summer long. I just got notice that my daughter’s preschool is closing an entire month early and not reopening next year, so that has been a fun plot twist… Summer is a time where we want to, and are sometimes forced to, slow down a bit and enjoy the ins and outs of life and motherhood. And as wonderful as it is to have our kiddos home, it can drastically change how we operate our businesses. For a lot of us, this might mean scaling back, or at least shifting how we do things. So let’s talk about how to make this happen without losing our minds! These tips work great if you’re planning on taking some time off, going on vacation, slowing down your schedule, or any variety of shifting to a slower pace for any amount of time!

We are shifting gears a little this week to talk about something that really does play a big part in our businesses, and sometimes we may not necessarily realize it. Mental health. Being an entrepreneur comes with all kinds of highs and some really low lows, and keeping our mental health in shape is really crucial for our success. Now, it is no secret that I’m an open book, and mental health is something I feel strongly about being open about. I suffer pretty bad anxiety, occasional depression, and have quite a few OCD tendencies. And there are times where my business directly impacts my mental health, and of course times that mental health impacts my business. So I want to share some ways that I manage my mental health to keep my mind and my business as strong as possible. I’m obviously not a dr, or even an expert on mental health, but this is what works for me!
